The house
A coaching inn, then a family home, then an inn again.
The first rooms were let to travellers on the Nashville road in 1852. The house was a family home for most of the last century, and we reopened its doors in 2009 — keeping the floors, the fireplaces and the ledger with every guest’s name since the beginning.
